I’ve never watched dog sledding before, so when I heard about Marmora Snofest I had to head up there to check it out. On the first morning, I took my wife and son with me and managed to get out and shoot the start of one race before it became apparent that my son was not as interested in the races as I was. Although he did enjoy petting some of the beautiful dogs!

I had so much fun trudging through the snow and enjoying the amazing winter weather that I decided to get up early and go back for a second day (and ended up staying the entire day). And am I ever glad I did! I met some very nice people and learned quite a bit about the dogs while I was out there. Next time I’m bringing snowshoes though.
