Many of the mornings over the past week have either been very cloudy, or not cloudy at all. Neither of those things are great for pictures of the sunrise! Recently, the mornings have also been extremely cold, so I was thankful that I wasn’t out freezing my hands off. That cold weather has also caused the bay to start freezing over (which IS great for pictures!) and it’s much warmer, so it was perfect morning to be out shooting!

I know most people are cursing the onset of winter, but like I’ve said before, I’m looking forward to it. Last year, we finally got snowshoes for the family, and this year my son got one of those fancy foam core sleds for Christmas, which should result in a much smoother ride down the hill :-).

And let’s not forget photographing the ice and snow of course!
