Have you seen The Decent? Me too. If you haven’t click the link and go watch the trailer so you have some idea what I’m talking about. Oddly enough, scenes from that movie was pretty much all I could think about while crawling into the small than expected caves at Warsaw Caves.

If your claustrophobic at all, or afraid of monsters jumping out of the darkness, or getting stuck in crevice or falling off a cliff… or any number of other irrational (or rational) fears (none of which even crossed my mind), this is probably NOT the place for you :-).  Although there was a nice hiking trail and picnic area, and even though it was raining, we went and jumped in the river after our adventure.

All irrational fears and jokes aside, we had a great time exploring the caves and just hanging out in this very cool forest. I highly recommend going to check it out, and we will be going back when my little guy is a little more capable (and a little less scared).

Also, completely unrelated to my next visit to the Warsaw Caves, does anyone know where I could get a realistic monster or skeleton suit?

Oh, and one last tip. Don’t bother carrying a big camera bag, it won’t fit!
