Unfortunately, I made a very bad decision on the way to see the fireworks on Monday: To go to Meyers Pier to watch. We had always gone to Zwick’s , but figured maybe we should try something different. I suppose it wouldn’t have been bad further out the pier, but from where we ended up standing, we didn’t get a very good view. 

But my son was happy though, so we were happy too. As a photographer hoping to get some nice fireworks pictures, I was not so happy however! Then yesterday morning, I saw on Twitter that the Quinte West fireworks were cancelled the night before and were going ahead on Tuesday. It’s not very often you get a second chance at fireworks, so I headed out to Trenton to have a look. Am I ever glad I did! It was a beautiful night, I had a great spot on the hill to view the fireworks and the show was amazing!
