What do you get when you mix a CD release party and a farewell concert? Well as it turns out, if you throw in a little Kenny, some Goodbye Gorgeous, a couple of nutballs throwing down on the dance floor, and you stay until the band starts to get naked, you get a pretty freakin; awesome concert.
First off, I’m sad to say that this was The Trudelles’ last concert. This was a great band and I’m glad that I had to chance to see them play several times over the last few months. But I’m sure this is not the last we’ll hear from them, and I really look forward to seeing what they come up with next.

As usual, Kenny kicked our asses. I love the shot below just for the colour… I’m pretty sure the purple is from the light, but who knows…

When Goodbye Gorgeous hit the stage, I had a goal to get a clean shot of Ryan and/or Justin in mid jump (without the motion blur this time). So I waited patiently trying to anticipate it… waiting… waiting… waiting… then suddenly…. Ryan turned into a ninja. A NINJA. Instead of jumping, there were roundhouse kicks and and a Samurai guitar. All I can really remember is thinking how glad I was to not be picking up pieces of my camera off the floor after seeing his foot fly by in front of my lense. Good times.

This was my first time seeing Inhale Marie play. This one got a little crazy with some throwing down and it didn’t take long before the shirts were off… well at least for the band anyway.
