Creating this book is a project that I’ve been thinking about doing for some time, and it’s finally completed and ready to share!

This book represents a lot of early mornings, late nights and kilometers driven in search of the right scene with the right light at the right time. Sounds easy, but for every one of those trips that ended in success, there are many more that were a complete disaster. Sunsets that never happened, sunrises obscured by cloud, and destinations that were never found. This book is full of the rare moments when everything falls into place and I was lucky enough enough to be there to capture it.

I recently read a story about how e-book sales are starting to drop as people are rediscovering the charm of holding a printed book in their hands. So, although I (briefly) considered offering an e-book version for this book, it really is not an option. The whole point of creating this book was to get prints into peoples hands. I could share these photos digitally all I want, it just doesn’t compare to a physical print in your hands. Or in this case, a whole book of prints.
