Camaro Z28

For this shoot of a Chevrolet Camaro, the client had a very specific location in mind. It had to include this Royal Canadian Air Force Golden Hawk. No problem!

This location presented a couple of problems. The plane is located in the parking lot of a very popular park which meant lots of traffic and parked cars. On top of that we had to shoot in the morning to try to avoid the busy afternoon and evening, giving us less than ideal light. However, I’m never one to shy away from a challenge!

We actually got really lucky. We arrived at the park in time to avoid the big crowds and we were able to setup right under some big shady trees, which gave my speedlights a fighting chance against the bright sun.

It certainly wasn’t an easy shoot, but things actually went pretty well according to plan for a change! When the client first told me where he wanted to shoot, I wasn’t sure it would work out, but I got the shot client wanted, and that’s what counts.
